The Time of my Life

Random thought…
Going through photos of my Euro Trip this year I thought to myself that I probably had the time of my life.. and then I started thinking how people used this term in general and I would never use that term to explain any part of my life ever again, as what it suggests is so regressive because it disregards the fact that the best is yet to be..
And I think you’re only truly successful when every single day you can say that you’re the best person you’ve ever been and that (generally) this is the best you have known life to be. So, if you’ve had the time your life now, does that mean everything that follows wouldn’t be so great? And to me that’s definitely not something I would be happy to say or accept.
